Maggie Jesse
In her role as the executive director for the ITS Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology at the University of Iowa, Maggie leads the instructional technology needs of the campus, including technology in learning spaces across campus and large-scale instructional technology projects and services. She regularly presents Community-Based Decision Making Workshops at the University of Iowa and at national meetings.
Maggie is a member of the central IT leadership team and she chairs the UI Academic Technology Advisory Council (ATAC), the Office of Teaching, Learning & Technology Advisory Committee, and the campus-wide Learning Spaces Executive Committee. In 2006, she was awarded the David J. Skorton Staff Excellence Award for Public Service from the University of Iowa.
